I don't understand why you're crying foul. And I'm confused by your wording. Please explain in more detail.
In the second part of Episode 7, 88 is not the one who captures Arial and takes his hand. Susan captures him and takes his hand.
Susan (as we find out in ep3) is an agent of Sandy Carter who was sent along with 88 on the original mission to hunt down the hand of Arial Zim (ep4). That mission failed becasue Calloway took out Susan and ran off with 88 (ep4 & ep5).
Now Susan has returned and somehow captured Arial Zim. She cut off his hand, presumably to complete her mission for Sandy Carter. 88, on the other hand, is trapped in the dream plain hunting down the Elixir that will cure Lois, Calloway, and herself from the after-effects of taking Sandy Carter's pills.
I don't see any holes here. If anything, I see an infinite number of roads stretching out before me.

I have to cry foul about the latest episode of Satacracy 88. Why was 88 ordered to get Arial Zim's hand only to capture him and do it anyway?
I hope there's a reason to all of this or you'll end up writing yourself into a hole.
